The Interview
So I decided to chop it up with Ariel about her experience with Paparazzi Jewelry.
Q: How long have you been in the business? What got you started?
A: I’ve been in the business for almost two years. I was looking for supplemental income without having to sacrifice my personal, career or educational pursuits. The night I decided to become an independent consultant, I stayed up all night. The only thing on my mind was ideas and the excitement. The thought of knowing that something can be so rewarding.
Q: What is it like as a consultant?
A: A lot of work. Direct sales are work. You get out what you put in and set the expectations for yourself.
Q: What is the startup process like?
A: There are 3 steps. 1. Find a consultant or a sponsor that is open, honest and willing to take you under their wing. 2. Buy into the business and continue investing. 3. Choose your path. Build a team for residual income or just focus on sales.
Q: What are some of the perks of being a consultant? What are some of the perks of being a customer?
A: The perks of being a consultant are that your investments are yours, it is commission based and that you can build your clientele. The perks of being a customer are that it is non-allergenic, always come in combos of necklaces and jewelry, it’s only $5 and that new merchandise is available every day.
